Holla!

So it's come to that time of year again.. EXAM SEASON! I cannot believe how quickly the past year has flown by me and that I'll finally be leaving school and heading off to university, how crazy it that! It's been a journey, has my education and even though times such as the present are ever so stressful and difficult it can only shed light on what's to come in the future for it may be hard now yet it will be worth all the work in a few months! Exciting and nervous times lie ahead.

Coursework it a massive part of my English Literature A Level and to mention that I would be over half way to a dissertation is ridiculous and even more so considering my word count should be 2,500 and I'm on 6,078.. Oh how I do pity my English tutor who has to cut it down by at least half! It'll all be worth it in the long run, but lets hope we can sort it out as the deadline is this week.. ahhhhh!

Exams commence in a couple of weeks and to say I'm not ready would be an understatement!! I would love to know where my motivation has disappeared to this year, you would think I'd be more motivated considering I've got the prospect of Uni just a few letters away from me.. yet I've never felt so unmotivated to study! Lets hope I've written a good personal statement and my dreaded coursework turns out to be a miracle grader..!! JUST OVER A MONTH TO GO......

One thing that completely relieves my stress is fitness.. yes it's very important to have a healthy body as this leads to a healthy mind.. In my opinion anyway! I love running and rugby and gym and just general fitness!! You never reach your limit as you should always be pushing yourself to better yourself! I ran over 8 miles last Sunday and I felt as if I could have kept going forever..  it was the perfect weather with the slight breeze cooling me as I struggled. It made me realise how much I really do want to do a half marathon in the next year and now I feel as if this could be a realistic goal!! In comparison to this glorious run, I ran only a 4 miles this weekend and it felt so heavy on me, the sun was scorching and I could hardly find any breeze.. unbearable!! Yet I didn't give up! I'm going to be trying a new running app called 'Running for weightloss' which is basically interval training of running and sprinting spurts and this is going to be very difficult as it's still over at least 4 mile radius 3 x a week. Good luck to me! I'll keep you up to date on that..

Just trying to keep myself in shape as it releases endorphins and to be honest when I'm on a fitness hype I feel great and it's all about the attitude!! My fitness regime at the moment is Monday - gym/interval training, Tuesday - Gym or netball and interval training, Wednesday - Rugby training, Thursday - Gym and interval training, Friday - Gym, Saturday - Gym or run, Sunday - Run Each evening home workout, and it feels great to be doing something everyday!!  Fitness has definitely reduced my anxiety so if any of you also struggle from it I'd give a little workout a go just to clear your mind and find your inner self as it's a great way to be independent and do something for yourself! It's possible to make changes whether they're big or small, physical or emotional. I personally have been through a lot in the last year and to go from a size 14 to a comfortable 10 is such an achievement for myself, and it's true once you notice changes and results you can't stop but keep striving for them.. That's the only thing I'm motivated for at the moment!! (Even though my parents keep saying how my muscle is building up and that they don't want me looking like a body builder which is rather humorous!!)

Staying optimistic is key and working hard plus feeling good is a massive part of a lifestyle!! Don't forget to keep a balanced lifestyle of health and work, don't overload the stress as it's just not good for you, take some time to chill and sleep/eat properly!

Love always,
