London Globe Adventures!

Holla!

Early this Autumn some friends and I ventured to London to see a Shakespeare production of 'Much Ado about Nothing'. Visiting the globe was most definitely an experience, and one I will carry forever, no doubt in saying I will be back there and hopefully fairly soon! The building is so dreamy, every fine detail which creates an atmosphere like no other. Fortunately we were sitting, I don't know how you could stand up for 3 hours with no shelter and watch a production, must have stamina! Being a literature student and one whom is striving for a degree in this field it would be rude of me not to visit the Globe at least once in my lifetime and i definitely know it will not be my last. The production was amazing and the actors/actresses were phenomenal recreating a play which would have been written and based on the years of 1600's.

Whilst we were killing time for an hour or so before the production actually began, we popped into Starbucks and much to my excitement the Pumpkin Spiced Latte's were back on the menu! Aaaah, I was beyond excited and think I drank 3 actually.. there's nothing like them and most especially in Autumn it is 100% tradition.. along with pumpkin pie of course which i am again most looking forward to, but another post for autumn so make sure you check that out!

Back to the Globe, I would most definitely recommend taking some time to watch a production yourself, they are not expensive and it really would be something to be remembered. Even if you're not into Shakespeare or haven't read the play you're going to see it's entertainment for all and I really do think anyone would enjoy it, all ages too. If you're studying any English courses or Alevels I would most definitely say you HAVE to visit this building, you will not regret it and will only benefit from doing so as you will get a feel for how Shakespeare portrays his characters and this will help your understanding for the story too.

London is such a traditional city and pretty place to visit, even if you are born British or travel around and London happens to be your final destination, London will provide for all. I'm very much into my theatrical self and love going to see productions of any sort, which London most certainly has to offer! London has every shop i could ever think of and at festive times it is so beautiful you have to snap and insta the moment you're in. So much occurs in this remarkable place too such as festivals and many concerts held in the O2. You would be mad to never go!

I hope you have enjoyed this post and keep me up to date with your outings or travels whether they're to your closest city or to the furthest away country from yourself.. step outside your comfort and be prepared for a bumpy but fun filled journey :)

All my love,

\
