So the annual six weeks half term has come to an end.. This years summer was very action packed and busy, where did the time go?? The group and i firstly surprised one of our best friends with a beach picnic for her birthday which she was very shocked about and it was so much fun to get everyone together, not to mention the weather which for Britain absolutely startled us with the bright sunshine, I might have even got a little red, which isn't too surprising for a redhead such as myself!! Anyways, so back to Wells - next - the - sea which is a small old fashioned beach, none of your modern commercialised seasides!! Picnic, cricket by the sea and just having everyone together.. perfect!
Here we all are alongside the beach huts enjoying the Rays..
Next major event was LEEDS FESTIVAL 2015!!! This year we only went for one day (the saturday), Mundford and Sons were most definitely the highlight, the country vibe really lifted the field! And I got to share it with one of the best people in my life :) Everyone there was so friendly and just there for the music also.. looking forward to next year!
The last thing we all did before getting back into the routine of Sixth form was a day trip to Centre Parks.. As the strong minded girls and guys we are we fancied a competitive game of laser tag between the 10 of us!! However it was safe to say we were most definitely thrashed by the other team, (who were secretly daily laser taggers!!) We were improving as the game went on and even through the rain, our will wouldn't let us stop, as the team we are we carried the losers trophy in great companionship, this was also a great bonding exercise, even if we were wet and muddy!! :)
This summer has made me and many others realise how important a great friendship is to have and they will be able to help you through anything, not only is a friendship important to me but to everyone and it really has helped us all through sixth form and just the mere support we have given each other, when you believe in someone else you start to believe in yourself. Things haven't been great for anyone especially with the stress of A-Levels but having a great bunch of friends alongside has made everything so much easier. I'm so thankful and even if something doesn't go right, I have support and back up always there.. 'Friends are the family you choose' and over the past few months this quote has become reality, and I love that!
With love always,
