Drug store haul!

Holla!

I've been desperately wanting to write this post for a few weeks now, obviously when I did the haul I couldn't really talk about the products until I tested them out for myself!
For drug store brands I was very surprised with the quality so much so I use them daily! I was in demand of some new make up but was on budget.. especially as I needed new everything basically including brushes! And I must say eco tools which are all natural, are actually rather splendid! Since I've bought them they're all I've used.. would definitely recommend these, especially if you like natural products and are on a budget.

I've been needing a fan brush for ages as many of my friends and beauty bloggers I follow have raved about them. I must say since I've purchased one, I will not use anything other than this for my highlight! It's an absolute necessity, so if you don't have one you MUST get one! Also they're not very expensive, even a basic one would do the job! No excuses!!
Also the eco tool's double ended brushes are brilliant.. especially the eyebrow one!! Plus the other end of the same brush can be used to highlight you brow bone after just filling in your brows! PERFECTO! Another recent product that has been reviewed frequently is the Kabuki sponge. I bought the one from Real Techniques and I must say, it's rather good for concealing your base, also due to the angled tip it's great for creases such as concealing under eyes or near the nose crease.

Following the brow brush.. I also bought a brow kit I've been meaning to try out too.  I wasn't sure what I'd think of the quality as the main reason people purchased this was because it's part of the beauty blogger Tanya Burr's new range.. much to my surprise this is the best brow kit I've used!! From the first day I picked this kit up I have not stopped using it.. even the highlighter is brilliant. I use 2 shades on my brows, the lighter 'pebble' for the beginning of the brow to help them look more natural and I use the darker 'chestnut' starting around the arch and ending at the tip, these two shades blend spectacularly together and last all day!! I would definitely recommend this kit to anyone having eyebrow difficulties, even if you're ginger it works. It's taken me ages to find a shade for my eyebrows due to them being so light and an awkward colour because of my hair... however this chestnut is the perfect shade for a red head!! This also comes with an angled brow brush, if you didn't already have one this one is rather good also! However whenever fixing your brows you must use an angled brow brush!!

EYE EYE!
That's right haha, moving onto the eye make-up purchases! For about a month I had been debating buying the maybelline nudes palette as I wasn't sure about the shades, however I've probably used all of them and they all blend so well together! Think I may have to get their blushed nudes palette and give that a try! As I like my rose gold shades, as in the Naked 3 palette.. which is laaaaaavly!

Maybelline also do these little beauties of cream eye shadow pots.. absolute treacles! The matte rose is brilliant as a base or just an eye awakener for basic make up days and the shimmer mauve can be used on its own or to blend in the crease for a smokey effect. I also have the beige and these are probably one of my best and most favourite make up purchases.. hit them up!! Shades for all preferences too!!
A fine eyeliner pen is much better and easier to use than the liquid.. also brilliant if you're a beginner to eyeliner and don't want to look like a panda!
The rocket volume mascara is my favourite drug store mascara alongside 'falsies' but of course my all time favourite is benefit's 'they're real'.

For the base!

This Revolution conceal palette has become one of my absolute favourite products! The shades are so suitable for fair skin such as mine. They include lighter concealer shades for brightening dark circles or highlighting areas. Also there are yellow tones to cover redness.. which is a struggle of mine. Absolutely love it and the price is even better!

Rommel's lasting perfection has great coverage and lasts all day! I like this foundation however for drug store I would recommend the wake me up as it's a lighter coverage and leaves a shimmery glow.. perfect for summer!

The new Rimmel lip liner, 'tiramisu' is so lovely for a nude lip and matches MAC's 'Velvet teddy' perfectly.

As for brighter, more extravagant shades I never thought I'd be able to wear them or even pull them off however I tried Tanya Burr's 'lets travel the world' with Kate Moss's '37' and they both go together just perfectly, creating a coral shade which is perfect for summer!! Tanya Burr's nude lip glosses are lovely with Kate moss's '45' or '43' for a natural look which can go alongside basic makeup or a night out!

Apologies for the long post.. Haul's tend to be tedious! I hope this is helpful for your drugstore needs and have enjoyed reviewing the products I have thoroughly enjoyed myself :)

Love always,
